I am looking for a tenant to fill a double in a 2br/1bth house! The house is a 5 minute walk from the base of UCSC, a 2 minute walk to the closest busline, and has a protected off-street parking spot. The unit has its own washer/dryer on site, a new dishwasher, new flooring, and an adorable fenced-in patio area!
For your room, the first pic is a picture of what the room looked like empty, then in the next few pics, the girlier side would be your side of the room :) When you move in, the decor and furniture on your side of the room will be completely gone, and most of the decor pictured in the house will be gone as well as I was the primary "decorator".
For roommate/housemates, the person you’d be sharing a room with is a 19 year old boy. He plays instruments (guitar, bass, drums, piano) and likes video games (Hollow Knight, Silk Song). He’s an Ecology and Evolutionary Biology major and a second-year student at UC Santa Cruz. The other housemate is a 20 year old boy. He plays guitar, bass, and piano, and also really likes video games (Hollow Knight, Silk Song, Undertale, Minecraft etc.). He is a CS Game Design major and a second-year student at UCSC as well.
The two other housemates don’t interact with each other much, and the house is pretty quiet by itself. Both of the other tenants usually go to sleep pretty late, but are fairly quiet past 10pm especially if you tell them you’re going to sleep. In terms of logistics, it is $1,000 monthly, plus whatever utilities cost. In the past, utilities have been around $150. The lease ends 6/30/2026. You’d be living in an HOA, but we’ve never had any issues with noise complaints, and the neighbors are super sweet. This will be a change in tenancy, so you'll need to apply through my property manager, which I'll set up!!
Availability SAYS December 19th, but can be earlier or later depending on your needs.
Text or email me with a little bit about yourself (your age, gender identity, major, etc.) and we can set up a little tour! I’m hoping to have the place available by late November, but if you have a specific move in date in mind, let me know!
