We’re located in Santa Clara near the Rivermark area in a single dwelling home (actually 2) in a great location near I01 and San Tomas, right between Milpitas and Campbell.
A short walk to Safeway, Starbucks, and more, two parks and many walking/biking paths.
10 minutes or less to Downtown San Jose and San Jose International Airport. We are amongst all the tech giants. Plenty of transportation options available.
The house has 4 furnished bedrooms, a living room, a family room, full kitchen, and there are small refrigerators in each room, there is Central heating and air conditioning. Everyone shares the utilities.
Pleasant backyard all surrounded by a privacy fence. Lots of space for planting for gardening, if that’s your thing. Unfortunately, there’s no outdoor furniture at the moment.
There’s a working washer and dryer, 2 refrigerators, and water heater.
There are two houses here. We, the landlords live on site. We have a ring doorbell and two cameras in the front. My wife and I live in the back house and we have full access to the rental house at all times. I am a very small business professional in a service trade so I have four vehicles on sight and my wife has one. I am also a professional musician with a small studio in the backyard and we rehearse once a week (I’ve never received a complaint in 30 years). We are easy going people but I’m a stickler when it comes to treating my property correctly. I can fix anything and do a lot of the work myself but all I ask is that you take care of my home with respect to every one and everything. There are brand new floors throughout the house and new tile in the kitchen. The small bathroom has a brand new toilet and sliding door. The house has been recently painted and still needs a few touchups outside. Currently there are two traveling professional women here and 1 full time female student and 1 senior. With that said, ultimately 3 women will share one bathroom but it will free up as the more temporary renters come and go. And actually the student goes home every weekend.
My wife mostly works from home at the moment. We have our own 13 lb, 6 year old blind-from-birth dog. We aren’t accepting any other animals at this time.
There is no storage. No overnight guests.
We are looking for someone who is respectful and works with us to help keep the common areas clean and picks up after themselves. We take our shoes off inside the house, and smoking of any kind is not allowed. We do not intrude on our tenants or try to micromanage. We only hope for mature adults who can work things out with each tenant.
The rent is $1400 a month for the room + split utilities. Two women or a couple is ok.
