NEIGHBORHOOD
Walking distance to food and retail.
3 minute drive to many many more stores, like SPROUTS, Thai, Mexican, Vietnamese, restaurants, coffee shops shops, Pizza, Panera, The Habit, sandwich shop, Jamba Juice, Beauty salons, dry cleaners, gas stations, etc. All about 4 blocks away.
Freeway entrance/exit is the same distance so very quick to get to and from home, ver accessible. There’s a park the other direction, about 3 blocks. Very convenient location. The City Center Lot is about a 5 minute drive, where there are even more shopping, restaurants, movie theater, outdoor lounge space, etc.
THE HOME
This is a 5 bedroom 3 full bathroom home, where you would live with two other housemates. My sister, mom and I shared this wonderful home for years, but our mom needs to transfer into an assisted living home and I recently got engaged, so will be moving as soon as we find a great fit for my sister to enjoy our home with. The home is on a cul de sac, which is nice having no through traffic for a peaceful surrounding.

- Downstairs Bd & Ba $1600/month.
- Master Suite $2000/month.
These prices include all utilities (PG&E, water, trash, internet), parking in our long driveway, use of entire house and backyard. We have a laundry room with a washer and dryer that you have access to, a large pantry in the kitchen to store ample dry foods and a refrigerator with freezer that will be shared with 2 other housemates. We have all the cooking necessities you are welcome to use at any time. The home is fully furnished.
Housemate
My sister is in her 40’s, she is extremely easy to live with. Best human I know :-) She’s single, but will have my mom and I over a few days/week for a couple hours. We usually spend a couple hours some time btwn 12pm-5pm 3 days/week hanging in the living room together. Just chill hang time, usually share a meal watch a show/movie then go our separate ways. You are always welcome to join us.
My sister works from home, so she uses one bedroom as her primary, an additional bedroom as a walk-in closet, and a third bedroom as her office. Her rooms are on the left side of the upstairs. All clumped together with her private bathroom. I am currently in the master suite, which is on the right side of the upstairs. So we will be renting out the Master and the downstairs bedroom, both of which have their own bathrooms. The master suite has the bathroom attached. The downstairs room has its bathroom right next to it. Shares a wall.
As far as what my sister would match well with; a good human :-) She is a very accepting, kind, open-minded person, who would enjoy someone who that resonates with. She likes to keep the common areas clean and cleans as she uses. Looking for someone who is similar. She would be good with someone who wants to keep to themselves, but also welcoming to someone who is looking to interact if you happen to vibe well.
MASTER BEDROOM
The pictures of the master are as I have it currently. I will be taking a few items to my new home that are in photos, but the king sized bed (mattress, bedframe with headboard pictured) and side table will stay for you to use. There are his and hers closets, so plenty of space for clothing accessories and storage. It even has shoe racks that fit 70 pairs of my shoes. The large dresser drawer set will stay for your use. This is my favorite room in the house. It is beyond peaceful. There are multiple windows that look out to the front and side of the home that is surrounded by trees. When your bedroom door is closed, you can’t hear much at all going on in the rest of the house. My sister often calls or texts me to get my attention because I can’t her yelling out my name :) it’s spacious, tranquil, private, and great for for anyone that loves spending a lot of time in their bedroom or just in their own space. There’s room to set up a desk if you work for. Home, and is a great environment for that.
DOWNSTAIRS BEDROOM
The downstairs bedroom has an average sized closet in the bedroom, along with a linen closet right across from the bedroom and bathroom. Inside the bedroom you have a large window that looks out to the yard. Very peaceful. This room includes a queen sized bed with a bedframe that allows for upper and lower halves of bed to incline or decline by remote if desired. Helps get you into that perfect position for sleep, watching tv, reading, or whatever meets your comfort. This room also includes a large TV and two dressers. There is also space under the bed to use as storage if you’d like. This room has carpet. Aside from the stairs to the second story, the rest of the home is wood or tile flooring. So it’s a nice ol cozy touch. This bedroom is next to the living room, so you can hear if someone is watching tv. However, we regularly had the living room TV while mol watched TV in this bedroom with the door closed and was perfectly fine. However, if you are looking for complete silence during hours when people are using the shared common areas, then you might not be the best fit for this. You can also hear the gate opening somewhat easily here, so Noise sensitive wouldn’t match well in this room. We would certainly agree on a reasonable time during the week to stop TV time in this area as everyone can use their own TVs any time in their bedrooms.
Note: the pictures provided of common spaces may show a couple of items that will not stay, as I will be bringing a few to my new home, but the majority will stay as shown and all necessities will stay.
Security deposit is equal to one month of rent. Move-in will be security deposit, plus first month, background and credit check.
We are looking for a 9 month lease with option for longer term thereafter. We have the option to renew our lease in April at the same price, but will consider options at that time. Ideally my sister wants to stay very long term, but will take this 9 months to determine that.
