The house is located in a quiet neighborhood near the Concord/Pleasant Hill border. Washer and dryer are on site in the garage. There’s a total of 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms; you would share a bathroom with 2 others. The kitchen is recently remodeled. There are front and back yards with ample gardening space. The backyard has fruit trees and a small covered patio.
Rules/Expectations:
• No smoking or hard drugs.
• Overnight guests are allowed but it cannot be excessive or disruptive (i.e. we’re not looking for a de facto fifth roommate).
• Single occupancy only.
Rent is $900/month with a $400 refundable deposit. Utilities typically range around $60-90/month depending on the season. We currently use the garage as a workout space/for car maintenance/transplanting plants/extra storage/general activity space, but garage parking is available for an extra $100/month. It’s a quiet neighborhood and not a through street, so there’s always plenty of street parking.

- Female, early 30s. Works for the city of El Cerrito full time. Into obstacle races, travel and reading.
- Male, early 30s. Works for Contra Costa County full time. Fosters cats (we currently have a foster). Into cooking, hiking, gardening.
- Female, mid 20s. Works as a geologist full time. Into travel, backpacking, hiking, cool rocks.
We value a clean and peaceful home and we’re looking for someone who desires the same. Feeling safe, comfortable and at ease is our priority. We keep things pretty low-key and tend to do our socializing outside the home to keep things quiet. Getting along with each other is important; we don’t have to hang out but being able to have friendly conversations is nice. Unfortunately, we’re currently at capacity for pets not contained within a terrarium.
