Wanted: Real San Francisco Honey (No Plastic Bears, Please) π―π
Hey folks
Looking for the kind of honey thatβs got a zip code and a personality β the good local stuff made by rooftop bees, backyard bees, or slightly feral bees that wandered into your compost pile and decided to stay.
Iβm not after boutique bottles or brand names. I want the kind of honey that could only happen here β maybe it tastes like fog, fennel, and exhaust from a 38-Geary. Something worth giving to a baker friend who actually knows what to do with it.
Happy to pay a fair or friendly price. Iβm not out to haggle β just to keep it real and local. Iβll pick up anywhere in the city: Mission, Bayview, Richmond, Outer Sunset, wherever your bees call home.
If your honey has a story β like βour bees live above a taqueriaβ or βthey built a comb shaped like the Sutro Towerβ β Iβm extra interested.
Thanks for helping keep this city weird and sweet,
Jack in the Mission
