Cook Construction is a project management and general contracting firm that strives to foster collaborative relationships with architects, designers and homeowners.
The most important role of the Superintendent is to oversee the subcontractors on site from end to end, including walkthroughs at the very beginning to coordinating punchlist items at the end. The Superintendent is to have full responsibility of the ongoing day to day tasks at the job site.
Primary tasks of a Superintendent include:
Subcontractor & Carpenter Oversight
Site Presentation & Safety
Project Timeliness
Communication, maintaining positive relationships with subcontractors & clients
Supervising multiple trades onsite
Open/Close the job-site daily
Story boarding room layouts
Managing Project Deliveries
Change Orders
Inspections
Photos
Can Navigate An Apple iPad or Laptop
Procore, Zoom, Google Meets, Weekly Timecard App
Gantt Chart
Weekly OAC Meetings
Many other tasks will be needed for this role to be successful. These are the broad categories, but the Superintendent covers a broad range of skills and tasks and is heavily invested in final outcomes.
