Job Title: Project Engineer (Construction) – High Ownership Role

About Us
We are a small, fast-moving General Contractor delivering high-impact projects, including housing in the Homekey space. Our clients are demanding and expect results. We also work with professional Prime contractors on new construction projects, requiring a high level of organization and execution.
Our team is lean, gritty, and hands-on. We move quickly, solve problems in real time, and expect everyone to contribute beyond a narrow job description.
The Role
We’re looking for a Project Engineer who can operate in a high-accountability environment and help keep projects running smoothly under pressure.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership and a highly capable Project Executive who moves fast, expects a lot, and is deeply involved in execution. Your role is to bring structure, clarity, and follow-through—helping ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
This is not a passive support role. You will be in the middle of real decisions, real problems, and real responsibility.

What You’ll Do
Manage RFIs, submittals, and document control with precision
Track project progress, budgets, and schedules
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field teams
Support project planning, buyout, and procurement
Help organize and translate direction into clear next steps
Step in wherever needed to keep projects moving forward
Who You Are
1–4 years of construction experience (PE or similar role)
Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable under pressure
Comfortable working with strong personalities and direct communication
Able to stay steady and focused in fast-moving or ambiguous situations
Takes ownership—doesn’t wait to be told what to do
Communicates clearly and keeps things moving, even when others don’t
Interested in growing into a Project Manager role
