THE ROLE
We are hiring a Construction Manager to run projects from estimate to completion. This is a client-facing role: you will be the person who assesses jobs, manages crews, and keeps projects on track and on budget. WHAT YOU WILL DO
* Assess and estimate residential and commercial jobs
* Meet with clients, present proposals, set appropriate expectations
* Order and manage materials, track project budgets
* Direct and coordinate construction crews on-site
* Manage project timelines
* Handle scheduling, quality control, and daily logistics
* Ensure permit compliance and adherence to building codes
* Communicate project progress to clients and ownership regularly
* Use construction management software (Jobber and/or Buildxact)
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
* 5+ years of construction management or project management experience
* Strong takeoffs, estimating and budgeting skills
* Proven ability to manage client relationships and close deals
* Experience coordinating crews and subcontractors
* Familiarity with Bay Area permitting and building codes
* Proficient with construction management software
* Organized, detail-oriented, comfortable juggling multiple projects
* Excellent communication skills — written and verbal
* Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

COMPENSATION AND GROWTH
* Competitive starting salary $75,000
* Growth opportunity up to $110,000+ based on performance and revenue contribution
* 90-day review period
