About the Role:
We're a busy, well-established independent auto shop in San Francisco looking to bring on a motivated entry-level automotive technician to join our crew. This is a ground-floor opportunity for someone who's eager to get their hands dirty, learn the trade fast, and grow with a shop that invests in its people. We are a specialty Volvo repair shop in San Francisco focused on quality diagnostics and long-term customer relationships—not high-pressure dealership work.
You'll work alongside experienced technicians on mostly Volvos, handling everything from routine maintenance to diagnostics. We believe in teaching as we go, and we'll support you toward ASE certification
What You'll Be Doing:
-Performing oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid services
-Assisting senior techs with diagnostics and more complex repairs
-Conducting multi-point vehicle inspections and documenting findings
-Keeping the shop clean, organized, and running efficiently
-Communicating clearly with service advisors about job status
What We're Looking For:
-High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/trade school training a plus
-Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and tools
-Valid California driver's license with a clean record is mandatory
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet all day
-Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn — GOOD ATTITUDE MATTERS MOST
-Your own basic hand tools preferred but not required
