These are fantastic machines, especially if you want perfect sanding after planing and in particular with figured grained woods. In case you are not familiar with the machine, it can sand wood up to 32" wide as it is a 16" drum, but the machine is open ended so you do 2 passes for widths from 16"+ to 32" wide. Jet picked up these machines and the new model is virtually an exact replica to the Performax, so most parts are available, if ever needed.
Very similar to the Jet 16-32, here at Home Depot for $1399 plus tax = $1530
