Do you love turning messy data into highly effective marketing campaigns? We are planning an exclusive 25-year business reunion and Wealth Symposium in Germany (October 2-3, 2026) for former colleagues who worked happily together from 1998 to 2006.
While we are pulling from a legacy database of approximately 7,000 global contacts, we are designing an intimate, high-impact weekend tailored for an expected final attendance of about 200 to 400 VIP guests.
We need a tech-savvy marketing generalist to join our team part-time to help us clean this network list and drive our targeted attendance goals. This is a remote role, but candidates must be based in either the San Francisco Bay Area or the Düsseldorf/Cologne region to coordinate across time zones.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
This is a dual-phase, flexible, part-time position available for a Paid Independent Contractor, plus a dedicated Volunteer Team Member (estimated 10–15 hours per week).
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Phase 1: Database Migration & Management (Immediate Focus)
• Convert ~7,000 legacy contacts from manual files, MS Word, and PDFs.
• Clean, de-duplicate, and standardize data into clean Excel/CSV formats.
• Segment the list by European Countries, Vice President Groups, and relationship status to identify our prime target audiences.
• Maintain strict compliance with data privacy laws (GDPR/US privacy laws).
Phase 2: Targeted Outreach & Marketing Campaigns
• Design and execute email, text, WhatsApp, and social media campaigns.
• Promote a four-part event itinerary to secure our target of 200–400 attendees: Friday Networking Mixer, Saturday Wealth Symposium, Gala Dinner, and DJ After-Party.
• Craft compelling copy tailored to high-level, former business colleagues.
• Manage RSVP tracking, attendance confirmations, and guest inquiries.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Advanced skills in Excel/CSV, data entry, and database cleaning.
• Background in digital marketing, email outreach, or executive event promotion.
• Exceptional written German and English communication skills; professional German and English a plus.
• High self-motivation to work independently across time zones.
COMPENSATION & PERKS:
For Paid Independent Contractors (Hybrid Milestone & Hourly Structure):
• Phase 1 (Database Build): Paid as a flat, project-based stipend of $1,000 - $2,000 USD / €900 - €1,800 EUR (commensurate with experience) upon the successful conversion, cleanup, and validation of the 7,000-contact database.
• Phase 2 (Marketing & Outreach): Shifts to an hourly rate of $30–$50 USD / €25–€45 EUR per hour (commensurate with experience) for ongoing campaign execution and RSVP tracking.
For Volunteer Team Members:
• Complimentary VIP access to all reunion events in Germany (including the Opening Mixer, Wealth Symposium, Gala Dinner, and After-Party).
• Premier networking opportunities with 25 years of established, global business leaders.
