This is an early Japanese battery-operated tin toy monkey with sewn clothing and cymbals. The motor turns on and runs, but the arm/clapping action currently does not engage, so it will need mechanical adjustment to restore full movement. Clothing, cymbals, fur, face, and tin body are original. Great display piece, collector item, or restoration project.
