The apartment is about 650 sq ft, has a gorgeous hardwood floor throughout. It is on the bottom level of a 3 story house. The house was completely rebuild 10 years ago, so this is a clean new construction and is free of mold, etc. The two upper levels are occupied by our landlord who is a senior woman.
The main room is spacious and has a kitchen corner with a sink, granite counter, cabinets, refrigerator, gas stove, and dishwasher. The bathroom is large and has a bathtub/shower with safety grab bars, sink with granite countertop, and extra storage space. There are washer and drier in the unit. The bedroom has built-in clothing storage. There are full size glass doors opening to the East towards a sunny back yard.
The living room / kitchen is furnished with a couch, table, and 4 chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, etc. The bedroom is furnished with two adjustable beds and a dresser.
We also have an outdoor cat which lives in the back yard and will have to be fed once a day. She is a sweet female senior cat (13 yo). The landlady can also feed the cat for a few days if no one is there.
Also, we have a reserved parking spot on the street in front of the garage. Street cleaning is once a week.
Public transportation is easily accessible - Muni 19 bus route is 5 min walk from the house. There is a connection with the 22 bus route on 16th street. The 19 bus goes towards Civic Center where a lot of other connections are available (BART, Underground Muni, etc). Also, Caltrain station is 3 blocks from the 7th&Townsend bus stop.
The neighborhood is very safe and there are gorgeous views everywhere. We are close to McKinley park. The Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital is about 10 min walking distance (via steps and a footbridge over the freeway). There is a small grocery store 2.5 blocks from the house (Chiotras Grocery). A full size grocery store (Whole Foods) is about 15 minute walk.
We are asking $3125 which is our monthly rent. In addition to the rent, there will be utilities and internet bills. The utilities (pg&e + water) vary between $80 - $120 per month. The internet is Comcast and costs $100 per month. We request one month worth of rent as a deposit which will be refunded after the end of the sublet.
We will be traveling starting 2/14/26 for about 2-3 months. The end date can be flexible.
