Quick Summary
I spend every weekend at my partner’s apartment, so I’d like to find a roommate with a complementary schedule who would enjoy having the place to themselves Friday - Mondays (possibly with an added day, Thurs or Tues). Bonus: my very friendly kitties will be less lonely when I’m away — though cat care isn’t necessary, cuddling them is appreciated.

Details
Hospitable by nature, I’ll handle the laundry and cleaning (towels, fresh sheets, making the bed, etc.). You’ll have space in the walk-in closet, bathroom and kitchen cabinets, etc.
The Place
Large studio (~700’) with the same square footage as the building’s 1br units. Difference: a nicer open floor plan and a large walk-in closet.
• Quiet, safe, dead silent
• Vacuum robot, mop robots
• Tempur-Pedic queen, cozy Hue color lights
• Heated pool / cardio room / gym / fob entry
• Dishwasher, plentiful laundry machines on every floor
• Two cuddly, *very* friendly cats (no cat care necessary)
• Premium linens, towels, appliances, etc. to make it feel like home
Yes, this is real.
My cats will be there. No money is exchanged until we’ve signed a lease, in the apartment, and you have keys. I’ll log into my payment portal in front of you for rent and PG+E so you can cross-check my name, address, and payment history against my ID. And we’ll video chat before you visit, for both of our safety. Please be careful out there and avoid anyone unwilling to take reasonable anti-scam steps.
No Cat Smells
Two social, cuddly cats. I know people often say this, but you would genuinely not know that cats are there. Thanks to specialized litter, HEPA units, and daily robot mopping / vacuuming.
No Cat Care Necessary
When I’m away they’re auto-fed (wifi enabled, pre-timed). I can swing by and scoop each day, or you’d scoop 2-3x per weekend. That’s it! Just relax and enjoy the cuddles.
Street parking:
• Plentiful and very easy
• Free (no enforcement from Friday 4p - Monday 10a) and inexpensive options ($100-200 annually for a neighborhood pass; no restrictions except street sweeping 2x per month).
The catch?
I believe in leaving people and places better than I found them, and doing the right thing even when inconvenient. I’m looking for someone with a similar mindset. Life is so much better when you surround yourself with folks like this.
