Details:
- Fully furnished room available for rent starting now in a large 1500 sq ft sunny, beautiful apartment in the heart of the Mission
- Looking for 3 months up to 6 months
- Furnished (8x10’) bedroom with queen bed for $2000/month with closet, dresser and high ceilings
- One month deposit + rent is required at move-in; would be $4000 at move-in (rent will be pro-rated based on move-in date)
- All utilities included in rent (internet, TV/Netflix/Amazon, water, gas, electricity)
- Just steps from everything in the Mission; 2 blocks from 16th St/Mission BART; many Muni buses including 16th St. buses to UCSF; 1 block from Tartine; 1 block from Valencia Street bars/restaurants, 1.5 blocks from Bi-Rite; 2 blocks from Dolores Park
Apartment & available room:
- Washer and dryer located in-apartment
- Beautiful Victorian apartment with lots of character that is very well kept-up, so you get the bonus of an apartment with lots of charm but everything works like new!
- 2 bedroom apartment, 1 bathroom (split shower room / toilet room)
- Large living room with great light, comfy couches and TV
- Full dining room that doubles as a work area
- Huge sunny kitchen with dishwasher and ice maker; both of us love to cook!
- Original hardwood floors throughout the apartment
- Back stairwell with lots of plants and area to sit and have a cup of coffee
- Shared back yard with awesome neighbors
- have a portable AC unit you can use when it gets really hot
- If you have a bike, we have a bike rack you can use in our hallway right inside the door for easy access (unfortunately it won’t fit wide handlebars)
- I’d say our style is vintage-Midwestern-kitsch
About us:
- We are a married gay couple (one in his 30s / other in his 40s) who've been together for 16 years. One is getting his PhD in architecture, the other is in tech. We love to cook and travel (been to 40+ countries and have lived internationally) and both hail from the Midwest, but SF is home (been here over a decade)
- We’ve done room sharing a few times now (both up to 6 months) and have had great experiences. Hoping to find the same again!
- During the months of August-September, both of us will be in the apartment. Starting in October, one will go back to LA for school and only one of us will be in the apartment with you
Looking for:
- Full time professional or student who does not work from home - aka looking for someone who goes into the office / school and does not work remotely (once a week is fine, but would like to discuss if it would be more than that)
- Would ideally love someone who is in SF for a short-term stint (e.g. internship / clinical rotation at UCSF, etc), but are open!
- Someone who is honest and respectful
- While we like to have a good time, we generally are in bed by midnight, so not looking to bring the party home
- Sorry, but no couples or pets
- We will require a reference and some documentation (e.g. job offer letter or school acceptance letter or bank statement etc)
- Fully furnished apartment; so would be looking for you to only bring clothes and some personal effects (bike is okay!); unfortunately wouldn’t have any room for extra furniture or storage
