This is a strategic sales role that will lead and ensure delivery of TWE's annual goals in the designated region by working with and through TWE's Distributor partners. Role can be based in Northern California (Oakland or San Francisco area) or Southern California (Los Angeles area).
About the Role
You will build the annual market plan to deliver depletion and distribution goals for the TWE portfolio while maintaining key distributor relationships essential to the region's business. You will work closely with our chain and national account teams to strategically drive profitability and growth.
You are an ambitious and driven leader with an analytical mindset and strong work ethic. Also, you are able to develop and maintain key relationships and have a solid background in the wine industry. Energetic self-starter who has a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• BA/BS degree required
• 8-10 years of outside sales experience in the wine industry with a focus on chains and national accounts, both on and off premise
• 40% travel required, including overnight stays
• Excellent proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Strong presentation skills, including the ability to speak in front of large audiences and command presence of key stakeholders
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent people and communication skills
