Nick, the engineer's engineer. Handled tough job for me to fix my hot tub spa. He is honest and sticks to his labor cost estimate even though it takes more efforts than originally planned.
I correlated his work to fixing up a antique car. You know how it goes. Some things are custom and need patience to rebuild. Some material costs may go up once you start the work.
I had a hot tub that I got in as is condition in my backyard. The tub was in good condition but the machinery was all busted from years of neglect by the prior owner of the property. I found Nick through Craigslist . He was prompt and showed up on time. He guided me with what machinery parts I had to order. He talked to Spaguts in southern California and we ordered what was needed . He took few days and fixed up plumbing and electrical. Now my hot tub works great and is an added feature to my property.
If you have a complex job, Nick is your man. He is knowledgeable, honest, reasonably priced. Do keep in mind depending on the job complexity, you need to be patient as good things take time.

Nick was a God send for our hot tub , I was faced with trashing my old hot tub and buying a very expensive new one, or trying to find some one who could fix everything that was wrong with it. I was fortunate enough to find Nick, who set above solving every problem that our hot tub had, from holes that rats were getting into , to changing the control panel, to putting in two new pumps, replacing the plumbing, repairing the GFCI circuits breaker and Ozone unit, which MY HOT TUB runs like a charm now and has years left in it thanks to Nick! I highly recommend him.

I contracted with Nick the hot tub guy to replace the innards of my hot tub ( Control panel, Heater, Pump, Ozone, plumbing and Electrical) and install a panel box and circuits breaker outside the hot tub but easily accessible in an emergency. This is a new code requirement.
I was very satisfied with the timeliness and professionalism that this contractor displayed and his knowledge of suppliers for old hot tub.

We hired Nick from Craigslist to help us with what appeared to be an electrical short or broken heater on our hot tub. He responded quickly and identified the problem right away. He sought to save us money on parts, and verified his work along the way. Our hot tub is back to perfect working order. Thanks Nick!

I hired Nick to fix my hot tub when my circuit breaker started continuously tripping, preventing my hot tub from staying on.
He came out as promised to do diagnostic work, tracing the problem to my heater. We ordered a new heater under its current warranty, and then he came back out to install it.
After installing it, he insisted we fill the hot tub up to test it before he left, at no extra cost. So we filled the hot tub, and the new heater worked great without tripping the circuit breaker!
I highly recommend Nick for any kind of hot tub work! I’m definitely sticking with him.
