hello! my name is oj and i am a 24yr old non-binary artist looking for a spot in the city. i moved to the bay in august (from idaho) so i am still relatively new to the area. i got a job in sf and am looking to be closer. more importantly, i am looking for a house that fosters community and creativity. i want to find a place that feels like home, living with people that can become friends/friendly. my budget is $1,100 or less for a room.
i am a sculptor and metalsmith working at an art museum in the financial district. i also teach metalsmithing classes in north beach but i am open to housing anywhere in sf. :) i am a skater, biker, hiker, etc. i enjoy going to shows and events and i love to dance.
i am allergic to cats but some dogs are okay. i am tidy and am looking for a place that is organized and clean but also feels comfortable. happy to stick to a chore chart or just clean as needed. i cook frequently and am 420 friendly. i have a small studio currently set up in my room but am super interested in any shared maker spaces, garages, etc. (not a deal breaker)
i am looking for something long term. my lease is month to month starting in january and I want to take my time to find something that feels right. if i sound like a good fit, please reach out! even if you don't have a spot now, i'd love to chat if you think we would vibe.
