Our research team at the Late Life Depression Research Program has begun recruiting participants for an important new study at the University of California, San Francisco. This research project is funded by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) and is investigating how symptoms of depression impact brain health in older adults.
If you are eligible, our team will guide you through an MRI and administer a series of cognitive assessments. Qualifying volunteers will receive up to $410 in financial compensation for their participation.
Participants may be eligible if they are:
• Currently experiencing symptoms of depression
• 65 Years of Age or older
• English speaking
• Willing to participate in cognitive assessments
• Can undergo one MRI scan
• Willing to participate in a longitudinal study
