I’m the master tenant for a really nice flat in Hayes Valley. I’m looking for an awesome new person to rent two adjoining rooms here.
WHO I AM
• 54-year-old gay guy who’s lived in SF since 1992
• Manager at a medical nonprofit
• The house vibe is very brotherly but independent.
WHO YOU ARE
• A very clean, friendly, and health-conscious person.
• No couples, cigarette smokers, or pets.
• I have asthma so please no scented candles or incense in the house.
• Big points if you are funny, a bit of a workaholic or geek, and like dark intelligent humor.
• Looking for long-term tenancy, at least one year
YOUR TWO ROOMS
• A medium size sunny bedroom and an adjoining very large room that could be your office and sitting room
• The large room has a decorative (non-working) antique marble fireplace and a red glass ceiling fixture from 1890
• The medium size room has nice furniture that could stay or go, including a double bed, an armoire, shelf and drawer units
• Your walk-in closet is located in the hallway
• I’m in the third bedroom, in the front of the flat.
• We’d share the living room, kitchen and bathroom
THE PLACE
• Built in 1868, there are hardwood floors and high ceilings throughout the flat.
• Our place has a truly wonderful and rare extra feature: a very nice landscaped backyard area with seating.
• The kitchen and living room are fully furnished. I am happy to share my dishes, cooking pots, etc.
• The Church Street subway, many bus lines, Whole Foods and Safeway, and the restaurants and shops in Hayes Valley are all within a few blocks. Seriously, this location is the best part of SF to live in.
• I've attached photos of the whole flat so you can see how things look
AMENITIES
• Very nice landscaped back yard area with seating
• Washer and dryer, dishwasher, and nice big stove in the kitchen
• Central heat
• A 65" TV hooked up to a Mac computer in living room, for anyone to use
• There is one bathroom we share
• Twice-monthly cleaning service
• Broadband Wifi, etc.
• I stock all household products like laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
REQUIRED
Please have proof of income and references that I can contact. I am a nice, stable person and only want to live with other nice, respectful persons. Any questions, just ask.
