Large home with a back garden, recently painted and roofed. Street parking available with no sticker needed. Quiet street with a community garden running the legnth of it. Thght knit community of neighbors who volunteer to keep the garden going. Landlord lives onsite and any issues are promptly delt with. Washer/Dryer and Dishwasher. Quiet home, not a lot of rules other than respect, keeping tidy and respecting the 100+year old house. The upstairs room ($1,200) has a restored hardwood floor and a nice room size rug. The upstairs room has 2 closets. One normal sized one and one truly enormous one that could be for storage. I have an art collection in the stairwell and in the upstairs hallway that needs to be taken care of. You can see the Oakland Bay Bridge with the new light show from the upstairs bedroom. The upstairs bathroom is super cute with a huge bath tub and generous shower head.
Please note that one of the tennants here (me) is a personal chef for a couple of families and I do most of my cooking from Sunday through Tuesday. I take plenty of breaks so the kitchen will still be available for a simple meal prep and I don't mind sharing space. The kitchen is completly if not overly equuipped and kept very clean (no dirty dishes ever left in the sink) since I'm cooking for other people. If you enjoy living in a bohemian, tidy house with older gay gentlemen you would feel at home here. Our St. is a little oasis of calm and safety in the Bayview with all races represented and a few families with kids
The downstairs bedroom ($1,000) is an addition to the house It's just next to to the downstiars bedroom and is the most private room in the house. It is smaller than the other room with a louvered closet and a window that looks onto the back garden. I don't have an unfurnished picture of the back room but I can post a pic of the room with the current roomate's furnishings soon.
