Hi, folks! We are two guys in Hayes Valley looking for a third person to come share our home.
WHO WE ARE
• Two guys: Alex, 54, gay, and Anders, 24, straight.
• Alex is a manager at a medical nonprofit and Anders is a structural engineer
• The house vibe is very brotherly but independent.
WHO YOU ARE
• A very clean, friendly, and health-conscious person.
• No couples, cigarette smokers, or pets.
• I have asthma so please no scented candles or incense in the house.
• Big points if you are funny, a bit of a workaholic or geek, and like dark intelligent humor.
YOUR ROOM
• Measures 10’ x 13’ and has 2 beautiful 7' sunny, south-facing windows.
• It’s nice, clean and comfortable.
• There is no closet for this room but there is a nice big armoire.
• The room is fully furnished, but I am open to renting it unfurnished for the right person. I’d need you to commit to living here for three years minimum, since I'd have to sell all my furniture to clear the room for you. If you rent the room furnished, you’d of course be welcome to decorate it with your pictures, plants, etc.
• Room is available October 13
THE PLACE
• Built in 1868, there are hardwood floors and high ceilings throughout the flat.
• Our place has a truly wonderful and rare extra feature: a very nice landscaped backyard area with seating.
• The kitchen and living room are fully furnished - we are happy to share our dishes, cooking pots, etc.
• The Church Street underground, many bus lines, Whole Foods and Safeway, and the restaurants and shops in Hayes Valley are all within a few blocks. Seriously, this location is the best part of SF to live in.
• I've attached photos of the whole flat so you can see how things look
AMENITIES
• Very nice landscaped back yard area with seating
• Washer and dryer, dishwasher, and high-end stove in the kitchen
• Central heat
• A 65" TV hooked up to a Mac computer in living room, for anyone to use
• There is one bathroom we share.
• Utilities are an additional $200 that includes everything you need:
- Twice-monthly cleaning service
- Broadband Wifi
- Electricity
- All household products like laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. are included. I buy them for us to share.
REQUIRED
Please have proof of income and references that I can contact. I am a nice, stable, interesting person and only want to live with other nice, respectful persons. Any questions, just ask.
