The room (will be unfurnished) is spacious with high ceilings and comes with 2 closets (one extra deep closet right outside the room that can be used for other storage too).
The house is right around the corner from Buena Vista and Corona Heights Park, and a 10 minute walk to the Panhandle. Such an awesome location, if you go down the hill 5 minutes in any direction you are in either Castro, Duboce Triangle, NOPA, Lower Haight, Haight Ashbury, or Cole Valley. 7 minute walk to the Muni at Duboce Park that will take you up and down Market and to the BART. Plenty of street parking with NO street sweeping on our street!
What I'm looking for in a roommate -
- Female in similar age range preferred
- The house is a very peaceful, serene space and that is the kind of energy I want at home
- Ideally someone who does not work from home full time (because I do, but also have a co-working space)
- Very clean and organized - someone who cleans up after themselves and keeps things regularly maintained, and down for deep cleaning with a housekeeper every couple of months
- Quiet and respectful - our landlords live upstairs with their son and this is a very peaceful street with mostly older residents. No loud music or late night gatherings
- Social and personable - ideally someone that is interested in socializing and will not be shut in their room all the time
- No heavy smoking
- No pets
About me -
- 34F work in non-profit consulting and am fully remote
- Morning person, likes to do yoga, go for walks/hikes, learning to cook
- I don't drink alcohol, it's fine if you do but this is not a party house (dinners and small gatherings are OK)
- Outside of the house I like to be outdoors, see live music, workout classes, occasional nightlife and festivals (we have storage for Burning Man stuff!)
