We are looking for someone to contribute to a community we are building with mutual respect, household contribution, and of course, fun!
$1240/mo. Available now. Shared utilities generally run $90-200/month per roommate. Deposit same as 1 month rent.
About the house:
The house is large with many common areas - it has been around since the early 1900's (remodeled this millennium though!). Includes large side yard (with community-minded neighbors) and big porch with views of the bay (it's the best place to drink morning coffee) Loaded with character; antique lighting fixtures, 12 foot ceilings, decorative ceiling work, wood floors, plus convenient in-house washer and dryer. Hardwood floors throughout, lots of natural light, and a big sprawling lawn with professional landscaping.
The mix of roommates is people in their 20's and 30's with a wide range of jobs. We get along really well and do things together on occasion, whether it be a dinner party, movie night or just chatting it up after a day at work. We are very clean in the common areas, esp. the kitchen and bathrooms, and overall like to be respectful of each other. You must be willing to do your part to keep the house tidy and clean. We all pitch-in to keep our home comfortable and nice.
Neighborhood Amenities:
Acres of forest and hiking outside our front door. Coyotes abound!
Communal garden (the house has a plot that needs your love!)
20 minute walk to Baker Beach
15 minute walk to Crissy Field
40 minute walk to the Inner Richmond neighborhood
Clean air, hiking/biking trails and easy access to the GG Bridge.
Also, the PresidiGo free bus takes commuters downtown during the weekday rush hours.
What are we looking for in a roommate?
We are looking for the right fit of laid-back and fun while also really respectful and clean. You must have good credit and a full-time job, and enjoy living with multiple roommates. The more you write about yourself, the better. Sorry, no couples or pets.
