Medium-sized bedroom available in large 4-bedroom Victorian apartment with 1.5 baths located in the inner Richmond. Very spacious light-filled flat with plenty of common area, a big living room and formal dining room which open into one enormous open space via pocket doors. The bedroom has built-in cabinetry and includes a closet. Bedroom is empty but there is the option to purchase the bed from our departing roommate. Walls were recently freshly repainted. Rent is $918 + utilities so usually under $1k/month. Lots of convenient public transportation nearby with the 1-California bus just outside and the 38-Geary a short walk, and bustling Clement street shops a block away. Also one block to Lake street (a "slow street") and the Presidio for nature walks.

Roommates are all in our early to mid-30's, a nurse and a contractor (a couple), a restaurant manager/musician, and a teacher/writer. The apartment vibe is low-key, mostly quiet and mellow as many of us spend nights elsewhere each week for work or visiting parents. We don't bring the party back home, but we frequently watch films together in the living room.
