We are a home of 3 near San Francisco's Inner Parkside/Sunset neighborhood, looking for a values aligned 4th member to move in starting September 1st. However, prorating is potentially available through September.
The Details:
Rent: $950/month
Deposit: $1450
Utilities: ~$150/month
Parking: Street parking; if you want a permit, it costs about $215 annually
About the home:
We're in an ideal location, walk score of 94, located near West Portal Station, and MUNI Lines 6, 66, 48, 57, 28, K, L, and M.
The home is a two-story home with lots of natural light and wood. 5 bedrooms - 3 upstairs and 2 downstairs (one person rents both rooms downstairs).
The house shares a large kitchen, living room, and dining room on the 2nd floor.
There is extra storage space and a garage with on-site washer and dryer.
About the Room:
The available room is located on the top floor overlooking the backyard garden, the rolling hills in the surrounding neighborhood, with a shared bathroom. (Sometimes you'll see the neighborhood cats pop in and out of the backyard!)
Accessibility Info:
The main entrance to the house is located on the second floor up a flight of about 22 terrazzo steps.
The shared bathroom includes a full tub with a curtain and mounted shower head, with the toilet between the tub and sink.
Everyone is vaccinated and boosted, and masks in public.
We're happy to answer any further accessibility questions you may have in a housing interview.
Pets:
We don't have pets and they are not allowed per the lease. Unfortunately as much as we love cats, one housemate is very allergic. Backyard cats often come in and out though, so feline friends are often close by!
About Us:
We are collectively engaged in environmental and or education adjacent spaces for work. In our free time we love nature, hikes, getting to know the nooks and crannies of the city, sweet treats, and urban walks. We have been or are currently engaged in work including public banking, holistic herbalism, and stewarding public commons.
About You:
We’re looking for a responsible, chill, and friendly individual, someone who pays rent on time and is mindful of maintaining a clean, respectful space.
We hope our new housemate would be interested in building community and friendship with us, while we also embrace supporting each other in interests outside the house!
We’d prefer someone who can commit to living in the house long term.
