We have a room available in a three bedroom unit- it's the bottom floor of a house one block from Alamo Square Park (the upper floors have a separate entrance around the corner). One of the current roommates is provided with a private bathroom but doesn't mind sharing, and you would be sharing the 2nd bathroom with the other roommate. Both include a bath/shower and toilet, and the 2nd bathroom also includes a washer/dryer for laundry.
The available room is decently sized, however usable space is reduced due to a cube with a sliding glass window built into the wall around the room's window- this was mandated by the fire department for whatever legal reason. If anything the cube can be used as a storage area, and there is also a closet in the room. Natural light comes into the room from the kitchen through a window near the ceiling. The foyer, living room, and kitchen are all pretty spacious
The street is fairly quiet but is only a block away from restaurants, bars, liquor stores, a grocery store, barber shops, public transport, etc
Roommates here get along but generally have their own schedules and interests and often work late- people seeking more of a community vibe where roomies all hang out make meals together might not be happy here. Generally the house is pretty quiet but occasionally there may be music or guests late at night- people who need absolute silence to sleep or require it be quiet by 10 pm are probably not good candidates for the room. There are no mandated chores, just please clean up after yourself and respect the common areas. 4:20 is welcome but cigarettes would have to be smoked out front or on the back stairs as most of the house is carpeted.
