You:
ONE awesome no-drama human of any age, race, gender, or sexual orientation (sorry, no couples or pets).
You are a kind grown-up who is unfailingly considerate and understands that good, clear communication is the key to harmonious relationships.
You're past your party days, keep a tidy house, clean up after yourself, and are willing to take a scheduled turn deep cleaning the kitchen.
While we will likely have our separate, busy lives and our own social circles, please be someone who likes people and is naturally inclined to say a warm hello to your neighbors.
Me: I've lived in San Francisco for 14 years. I'm friendly and mostly easygoing. Male and mid-30s, if that matters to you.
In the evenings, I cook, read, and occasionally have a few friends over for a game or movie night. On my days off, I spend a lot of my time outdoors.
The apartment: Located in the heart of the Mission, just a few blocks from Valencia street and Dolores Park, BART and several buslines (33, 22, 14, 49). These are either pros or cons depending on your relationship with urban living.
The bedroom is sunny, and although not large, it accommodates a queen bed, dresser, and desk. You also have your own bathroom. We will be sharing the living room, dining room, and kitchen. lots of space.
Shared utilities are electricity and internet, which comes out to $80-100 each.
House/building stuff: The building is old with minimal insulation between the three units, so we're all mindful of noise, even outside traditional quiet hours. We also have some chemically sensitive individuals in the building, so absolutely no heavily scented personal products, detergents, or cleaners. We're all 420-friendly, but no smoking or vaping of anything indoors.
The Lease: 6-month lease with an option to extend at the end of the 6 months, just to make sure we get along long term.
If all of the above sounds reasonable, please send me an email and tell me a little bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a shared living situation. Happy hunting!
bonus option of renting a garage at an extra $250 a month.
