The House:
- 5 roommates total (including you)
- Everyone is introverted but friendly! Introverts would fit in better to the house vibe
- This is a no-drama household, we coordinate on a chat group, and it is OK to send a quick text to communicate your needs
- Cleaners come once a month to clean common spaces
- 8/10 overall on cleanliness, everyone helps out with trash and putting dishes away, etc.
- Washer/dryer in unit
- Indoor bike rack
- Two bathrooms, you will have the option of a bathtub or a shower
The Area:
- Well connected via public transit! All light rail Muni lines are accessible, in addition to some great bus lines, like the 22
- Easy walk to Lower Haight, Mission, Castro, Divis, Hayes Valley, and Japantown
- Right on Duboce Park (but no pets, sorry)
- Three grocery stores within easy walking: Golden Foods, Whole Foods, Safeway
- The best neighborhood in SF, in our opinion ;)
Costs and Logistics
- Monthly cost of $1650, not including utilities
- Sublease is month-to-month, ideally for six months but flexible, and you must give at least 1 month's notice
- Utilities are ~$150/mo, depending on the time of year
- Two house members are master tenants - if they vacate, you have the option of negotiating a new lease with the landlord
- $1650 security deposit due when you sign the sublet agreement, you get a key when you pay the first month's rent
- Street parking is available with a permit
