Location: Transit Happy! Very close to Excelsior Library. We have buses coming every 1-5 minutes just outside our door; it's fairly easy to get around town or just about anywhere else within the city. It's also a short 10 minute ride or 12-15 minute walk to BART. If driving, there's street parking typically available within a block. Plenty of solid markets for fresh produce and all else within a block or two, along with a bigger Safeway about 10 minutes away. Laundry-wise, there's a laundromat literally across the street. We also have a portable spin dryer and dryer, and got a portable washer this week (needs to be connected). Neighborhood is more on the quiet, small town with dense city transit vibe.
Apartment: 2-3BD apartment with a split bathroom (no waiting as someone else showers!). We keep it fairly warm, both with wool rugs and a gas heater. There’s a small yard with dining table and hammocks. We also have plenty of training equipment you’re welcome to use (squat rack, barbells, plates, gymnastics rings).
Room: This room is the warmest room in the apartment, as it’s right outside the heater. It’s also relatively quiet. Comes furnished with an amazing Tempurpedic king sized mattress with an adjustable, remote-controlled frame we’ll miss.
Price: $1025/month, which includes all utilities.
Lease: Flexible on timeline, open to shorter or going month to month. Available for a move-in now through Jan 1.
Roommates: I'm 34F, former engineer, and do ballet/gymnastics for fun. Toddler and I are usually out during the day exploring all the great parks of this city, and enjoying the various events and activities here.
