IHSS Provider Seeks IHSS Client
You: Have hours and need stuff done. Ready and able to enjoy the city. Positive attitude.
Me: Cheerful, licensed IHSS Provider willing and able to provide any IHSS care duties, and enjoy San Francisco with you.
Let’s begin with an email. Tell me your first name, the part of San Francisco you live in, how many IHSS hours you have available and what you’d like accomplished in that time.
Never give your personal details to anyone on Craigslist and please don’t ask for them from others – no one should demand a resume, references, and addresses BEFORE a couple of emails, a phone call and the in-person IHSS Interview. People demanding personal details right up front are scamming you, harvesting your name your address and your work history. Steer clear of those people. We keep each other safe while we figure out if we want to work together.
If you respond to my ad just let me know some general things about you and what you are looking for. If we think we’re compatible via our email then we’ll have a phone call and the IHSS interview.
A possible example of your response without too many personal details: Hi I’m Lisa and I live in the Tenderloin. I seek someone to help me with basic household chores, cook and freeze 5 dinners and take me to appointments. I use an electric wheelchair. The days that are best for me are M-F, 1pm to 5pm. I have a cat! I’d love to go to the farmer’s market near me. I’d like to check out the music night at my favorite restaurant 2x a month.
I hope you respond to my ad and I am am excited to meet you!
