Built in a John Dobson telescope making class at the Randall museum in the 90's. Not many left of this design. Everybody wants a go to mount for Astro photography. Like John used to say "for the price of a roll of film you can buy every photo Hubble ever took", I can hear him saying that even now. He hated the color of that tube. He would always say "white radiates heat in the infrared don't paint it white". I spent many of nights on Mount Tam and at the Grand canyon south rim star parties, listening to him talk about science. Like many of us I just have too many scopes. Primary could use a recoat but still gives bright views of planets and galaxies from a dark sky site. Mount moves smooth in alt/azimuth directions. No eyepiece. Pick up east of Sacramento near Placerville. Price is firm. Voice calls only or leave a call back number to avoid scammers, because scammers will never call.
Thanks
