Rehoming a roughly 2 year old GSD, not yet neutered, will probably need another round of vaccinations soon. Originally was a stray we kept for about a year and a half. He also has a skin issue on his back which we think is a fungal issue and not a allergen issue. Unfortunately he is dog reactive for ex. on walks he’ll lunge and bark, he gets overstimulated easily as well and needs a lot of patience, but in new environments he can be friendly with other dogs and play like any other pup. He’s currently getting better at his leash pulling with a herm springer collar and responds pretty well to it. He can be off leash but only in areas when he’s alone with you and can recall when you whistle. I only want him to go to a good home with a yard. He’s crate trained and won’t potty in the house unless absolutely necessary, good with cats and kittens, small children as well. Knows some basic commands like sit, down, wait, stay, and out of the room. He also has this habit of going in between your legs and sitting down since we found him. On walks he may not listen too well he gets overstimulated easily outside but does amazing in the house. He’s super sweet and loves us with all his heart but we just don’t have the space for him anymore in our home. He’s a velcro dog and loves us very much and I’m sure he’ll love whoever we rehome him to so, I’m willing to rehome with a fee just to insure he goes to a loving family who’s willing to spend time with him and treat him well for the rest of his life. He’s wary of new people so he NEEDS patience to bond with you. I am requesting a phone call or in person meet with whoever is interested in him prior to adoption.
