The Legal Administrative Assistant will work closely with the firm administrator and the lead legal administrative assistant. This role requires an individual with multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle tasks efficiently. This is an entry-level position that would be a wonderful fit for someone interested in the legal field and has a desire to learn and grow within the industry.
Responsibilities
• Assist with office organization
• Run errands as requested
• Perform various clerical duties, including opening mail, filing documents, scanning and shredding
• Answer incoming calls and respond appropriately
• Assist with potential client intakes
• Assist with social media management when needed
• Assist firm administrator with monthly account reconciliation when needed
• Other tasks as needed
Requirements
• Must pass a background check
• Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently, problem solve and take initiative
• Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Word & Excel, email, internet)
