We are a growing mattress and furniture business looking for a reliable, responsible, and motivated assistant to work directly with the owner and help manage and grow the business.
Our company has been operating for 9 years and is now expanding strongly as we continue building our brand and future showroom operations.
This is a long-term managerial growth opportunity for someone who wants to become an important part of the business.
The person selected will work closely with the owner from the beginning, help handle daily operations and customer communication, and gradually take over more responsibilities as the company grows.
We are looking for someone mature, disciplined, organized, detail-oriented, trustworthy, and focused.
The right candidate should be able to listen carefully, follow instructions well, stay professional under responsibility, and work closely with the owner as a dependable right-hand assistant.
This position requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, consistency, and commitment due to the importance of helping manage daily business operations directly with the owner.
This is a managerial opportunity to grow with the owner and become part of the company's future leadership and expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the owner on daily business operations
- Assist with customer communication, follow-ups, and organization
- Help manage online listings and advertisements
- Learn the products, pricing, and sales process
- Assist with scheduling, customer information, and business coordination
- Support future showroom operations in Berkeley
- Help maintain a professional and organized business environment
Requirements:
Must live in the Bay Area
Good communication and organizational skills
Polite, respectful, patient, responsible, professional, disciplined, focused, and able to handle responsibility professionally
Comfortable using computers, email, online marketplaces, and learning new software systems
Willing to learn and grow with the business long-term
Comfortable working closely with the owner
Some experience in sales, customer service, administration, or online selling is a plus
Leadership mindset and interest in business growth preferred

Full-time position, approximately 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
Compensation: $22–$27 per hour depending on experience, responsibility, and performance
Location & Growth Opportunity:
The selected candidate will begin by working and training directly with the owner in San Francisco for approximately the first 3 months.
The company is currently preparing a new showroom location in Berkeley, which is expected to be ready in approximately 3 months. Once the showroom is operational, the candidate will likely move to the Berkeley location and will have the opportunity to earn additional commission through showroom sales. The candidate will continue working closely with the owner, assisting with business operations and helping support the continued growth of the company.
