I'm new to the city and looking for creatives - especially musicians to connect with.
I live in the Richmond, work in the Mission. Pretty open minded about where you're located.
I am more of a writer than anything (poetry songs etc), but also love to sing and play a touch of the guitar and drums (I am learning!)
Looking for people to play music with, jam with. Have fun, play, freestyle, write songs. Kick it. Explore. A good vibe. I am not a properly trained musician, so if you're looking to meet someone of a high technical level that's not me. If you are good or are in a group that's good but are feeling stuck maybe I can help you out on a process level. Loosen things up. Bonus if you're cool fun girls in your 20s. (I am a cool fun girl in my 20s). Don't have to be though. I get a long with a lot of different kinds of people.
I've been going to a few open mics / performing and that's been fun, if you're going to open mics and want someone to go with - that could be me. Support each other, socialize, etc. Find out where the house shows are. Where are the house shows? If you know let me know.
I like a lot of different kinds of music. folksy stuff, classic rock, indie rock, funky stuff, shoegaze stuff, midwest stuff, janis joplin, sometimes hymns, emmy lou harris, dolly parton, etc.
