Selmer Reference 36 tenor saxophone - $5,450 (lower haight)

This is the later version of the Ref 36, #830118, which is lighter and more resonant than the original release. This change happened around 2015 and although Selmer does not have serial number charts for later models, as best I can determine it dates from 2017 or 2018.
Pads are like new and the action is smooth and fast. The horn is in perfect adjustment. Included is an Oleg low-Bb extender which improves functionality of that key.
These can be played at a whisper, but will take all the air you can give it without getting flabby. It has a powerful resonant presence at all volumes. I find the intonation to be particularly good, and the overtones are well aligned making altissimo effortless.
The horn is in almost perfect condition with zero lacquer wear. The case has a few minor scuffs as seen in the images.
