I bought this cello for $12k in 1998. It is from an American maker from 1970. I trained professionally on it throughout teenage hood, and then played it recreationally in college and beyond. It's served me well! Played it all throughout Juilliard Pre-college. It's been performed on the stage of Carnegie Hall, SF War Memorial, and Duke Concert Hall.
It was most recently checked over for service by Roland Feller August 2025 and appraised at $11k. I'm sure it could be sold for more. I'm looking to sell it relatively quickly so listing it hoping for $8.5k but can settle slightly lower.
