Custom Taylor GA 9-string - $3,299 (ingleside / SFSU / CCSF)

I am parting with my 2018 Custom built Taylor Grand Auditorium 9-string guitar, which is basically a standard Taylor GA 6-string guitar, but with the 2nd, 3rd and 4th strings doubled like a 12-string guitar. Specifically, the B-string is doubled, and the G and D strings are each paired with octave strings. You may also think of it as a 12-string guitar, but the outer 1st, 5th and 6th strings are not doubled, which makes it easier to play.
This guitar has a gloss finish, solid sitka spruce top, quilted sapele (mahogany cousin) back and sides, ebony fingerboard and bridge, and Taylor's signature ES2 pickup (full spec sheet available upon request). Although used sparingly, it's been kept in pristine condition in its hardshell case. I am also including in this sale proper humidification packs which keeps this guitar humidified optimally.
Tonally, this guitar has the "jangle" that you expect to hear on a 12-string guitar, but because only half of the strings are doubled, it allows for easier playability with its 6-string standard 1-3/4 inch nut. You really have to hear it and play it to experience this unique guitar.
