Standard Metal Products is a small but mighty CNC Machine shop in the SOMA part of SF. The work is interesting and dynamic. Please see our website - smpmachine.com for more info about the type of work we do. You must have a few years of pro experience running lathes and mills or be very competent with cad for a possible waterjet position. We have an Omax 55100 and we program our CNC machines with Gibbscam. Alternately if you have no experience but are good with your hands we can talk about a possible intern position. This job and shop are a perfect combination of hand and brain work. The shop is clean and bright and is close to BART, CALTRAIN and also the SF Ferry building.
