This is the Finest example of a Preserved Time Capsule that I have had the pleasure of Viewing in over 60 years of enjoying the Motorcycle Industry.
HISTORY-
We came across this 1973, CB750, in Southern California.
We were told that it had been stored in a Climate Controlled Facility in Southern California…And as Advertised, it appeared so.
MOTORCYCLE PEDIGREE-
1973 HONDA, CB750.
MILAGE- 601 ORIGINAL, (Not a Disconnect, Speedometer Replacement, Etc.).
AS THE OWNERS MANUAL SO DEPICTS, THE MOTORCYCLE SHALL NOT EXCEED 5000 RPM UNTIL 600 MILES.
WE CAN ONLY ASSUME FROM THE OVERALL CONDITION, It HAS BEEN BABIED.
COLOR- CANDY BACCUS OLIVE.
NOTE, THIS COLOR WAS AVAILABLE (ONLY), in 1973.
IT IS THE ABSOLUTE
RARIST OF THE CB750 PRODUCTION MOTORCYCLE COLORS.
This Motorcycle has NEVER had a Wrench on it, Since Leaving the Production Line in Hamamatsu Japan.
It has had One Oil Change since New.
Never Crashed. Never tipped Over, No Garage Rash.
It is Original down to the Yellow Paint marks lining up the Nuts and Bolts on the Assembly Line.
The Original Battery has been replaced with the OEM, YUASSA Battery.
Starts and Runs like a Motorcycle, Fresh Off the Showroom Floor Should.
It has the FACTORY ORIGINAL TIRES!
Not Re-Pops from the Clone Tire Manufacturers.
I have posted the Serial Numbers on the Tires, which show that they were Manufactured Two Weeks before the Motorcycle was Built.
These tires show NO SIGN OF DRY ROT!
The Factory Tool Kit is on Board.
ALL LIGHTING, Horn, Turn Signals, Brakes, Brake Lights and Decals are present, and Work like they are expected to.
NO, THEY ARE NOT REPRODUCTION Decals.
These are the Originals as the Bike rolled out of the Honda Manufacturing Plant in Japan.
When the Appraisers Looked at this Motorcycle, they agreed this is an extremely Rare 750.
It Belongs in a Museum, A Dealership, or in the Collection of a Demanding Buyer.
There is nothing to Fix.
It’s too nice to Ride, or I would be going up the California Coast with it.
