Will pay $50–75/hr to give you a camera to record your day!
We’re looking for people who work in hands-on technical fields to help us capture POV video footage of real-world tasks. You’ll wear a lightweight head-mounted camera (we provide it) while doing your normal work. No editing required — raw footage is best.
Examples of Tasks We’re Looking For
- Electronics assembly or repair → soldering, screwing in boards, connecting ribbon cables, swapping components.
- Mechanical prototyping → tightening bolts, aligning 3D-printed parts, clamping, gluing, testing fit.
- Sensor rig setup → mounting an IMU, wiring a depth camera, taping down connectors.
- Machine shop tasks → milling, drilling, cutting, sanding, operating small tools.
- 3D printing workflow → prepping a print, removing supports, post-processing.
- Packaging & kitting → sorting small parts, boxing kits, labeling, taping.
- Appliance/tool use → operating drills, torque wrenches, soldering irons, oscilloscopes.
- Lab-style work → pouring powders, pipetting liquids, mixing solutions, using clamps or microscopes.
- Workshop repair → changing filters, swapping belts, tightening fixtures, assembling jigs.
Pay
$50–75/hr depending on complexity and skill.
Flexible schedule — you record as part of your normal workflow.
Requirements
- Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area AND have availability tomorrow / may make exceptions for this weekend.
- Work in a field that involves physical, hands-on tasks (engineering, prototyping, lab, machine shop, logistics, repair, etc.).

Privacy protected — footage focuses only on your hands and the task, not your face or personal info.
