· **PAY: $28.77/hour
· **HOURS:** Expected shifts will be 8-hour days starting at 8:00 AM
· **SCHEDULE:** Expected work will be Monday-Friday; approximately 40 hours/week
· **START DATE:** ASAP
· **DURATION:** 4+ weeks (Monday - Friday 8 am to 4 PM) Must be available full duration of schedule.
**Landscape Maintenance Worker Job Description:**
We are seeking dependable Landscape Maintenance Workers to perform groundskeeping and landscaping duties at a cemetery in San Francisco. Employees will be responsible for maintaining lawns, landscaped areas, trees, shrubs, and flower beds while preserving the respectful appearance and atmosphere of the property. This position requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions and performing physically demanding landscaping tasks.
**Qualifications for Landscape Maintenance Worker:**
· Previous landscaping, groundskeeping, or horticulture experience preferred
· Knowledge of mowing, trimming, edging, planting, pruning, irrigation, and general landscape maintenance
· Experience operating landscaping equipment and hand tools safely
· Ability to assist with gravesite preparation and restoration as needed
· Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality grounds appearance
· Must be able to work respectfully in a cemetery environment
· Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE
· Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, bending, kneeling, twisting, digging, grading, planting, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted
**Additional Requirements for Landscape Maintenance Worker:**
· Must be eligible to work in the United States
· Must have reliable transportation to the job site
· Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
