The role:
• Walks are primarily located in Russian Hill, Marina, and North Beach (northeastern corner of the city)
• Midday hours are busiest (11am–3pm), so efficiency and time management are essential
• You will start with approximately 4 regular clients, with the opportunity for additional work
• This role is ideal for someone looking for consistent extra income or an experienced walker wanting dependable work with a small, established business
Requirements:
• Prior dog walking experience (professional or long-term independent experience preferred)
• Background check required, a recent one from a previous employer is fine.
• Reliable transportation — a car is required
• Comfortable navigating a fast-paced schedule and moving between locations efficiently
• Dependable, punctual, and communicative
• Not looking for a short-term gig — reliability and commitment matter
• Flexibility to help cover walks or care when I am out of town is a big plus
