Very rare eighteenth century bloodstone and 18k gold signet ring that was most likely made in Belgium and imported into France in the 1860-1880 period. It has been beautifully made with fine engraved detail to the pierced and coiled shoulders and around the bloodstone. The shank is a fluted design. It sits low on the finger and can be worn by either a man or a woman.
