Used, but very good condition. Not quite as plump or bright white as when I first got it, but still very nice. No stains or spills, and no pets. I think with a good rinse with a carpet cleaner machine (e.g. Bissell), it would be good as new. (I don't have one unfortunately.) Or even a cleaning in the shower would help (it didn't fit in mine.
100% polyester.
