Single female and kitty looking for housing in San Francisco

I am a 34 year old professional, self employed, and well established massage therapist looking for a private space or apartment to move into January 1st to February 1st (or a bit earlier if needed). I currently live in the North Bay and have been in my currently spot for almost two years, but plan to attend SF City college for a certification program in the upcoming Spring so I’m looking to relocate. I have excellent renters history for the last 10+ years and can provide multiple references. I’m quiet, respectful, and extremely clean. My home is my sanctuary and I treat it as such. Along with that, I’m very mellow and don’t have a hectic rowdy lifestyle. I spend most of my free time hiking and in nature or at home cozied up with a book, doing a craft, or playing video games. I travel for work predominantly and have had my business for over 7 years and am very well established with well off income. I can provide bank statements, rental receipts, and what ever other documentation required. I do have a 7 year old orange fluffy kitty who is very well behaved and I keep his nails extremely short. We are just looking for a safe, stable, secure place to call home. Long term rent preferred as the program I am entering is 3 + years.
Preferred private apartment, but willing to move into the right space with the right person/people/situation. Non smoker. Looking to pay $1,800 or less.
