The AquaCera W9512505 Replacement for Franke FRX02 Water Filter compatible water filter provides impressive containment reduction through its high porosity ceramic candle design that removes lead, bacteria, pesticides, and improves water taste and odor. This filter is compatible with Franke / Doulton FRX02 M15 Mounts. Nobody has perfect water but the right filter can make all the difference. It all starts with the silver-impregnated ceramic diatomaceous earth shell wrapped around a carbon block core removes waterborne contaminants. Silver has been used for water purification in many cultures for centuries. When combined with a diatomaceous earth material that can filter particles down to 0.2 microns in size, water is cleared of up to 100% of cysts, heavy metals, bacteria, pesticides and more. Finally, the carbon core acts as a kind of sponge that absorbs the taste and odor of chemicals such as chlorine that is used to disinfect water. Which as we note above, can be done with silver proving that the AquaCera W9512505 CeraUltra compatible ceramic candle water filter really is the right filter for achieving more perfect water.

The ceramic filter element is washable when you notice flow rates decrease. However it is recommended you replace the filter every 6 - 12 months or 1,200 gallons for optimal filtration of VOCs (volatile organic chemicals), lead and mercury. You may continue to use the filter for prolonged periods for chlorine reduction only, up to 4600 gallons. How often you replace the filter will depend on quality of water in your local area and filtration needs.
