Hello!! We hope you're doing well! We are the founders of the Asian Unification Project, a youth-led organization with the main mission is of raising awareness of the struggles faced by Asian-Americans in our community and to empower individuals and groups to overcome the four I's of oppression: ideological, institutional, interpersonal , and internalized. Here are some examples of our work: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yL9zwfR3a8OhR6JlSNm4G85xk9HhboZq/view?usp=sharing
We've recently started applying for the Youth Empowerment Fund (YEF) to sponsor our work, and we're reaching out to see if your business/organization would consider serving as out fiscal sponsor if we are accepted.
Here’s how it works:
- A Fiscal Sponsor can be either a nonprofit organization or a for-profit business.
- The Fiscal Sponsor covers approved project expenses up front. YEF then reimburses them for the grant amount.
- YEF disburses grant funds as monthly reimbursements after receiving an invoice, along with detailed receipts and documentation of expenses.
- The Fiscal Sponsor will also need to add the YMCA as an additionally insured party to their insurance and provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI).
This is a great partnership opportunity if you're looking to expand your impact in your community!
