Roche Bobois DESIGNER European KING Size Bed Set - $4,500

Stunning ROCHE BOBOIS platform bed set from their Contemporains Collection (now discontinued, so this is a rare find in excellent condition at a HUGE discount). This is a solid, heavy piece made of solid elm wood. The minimalistic design is absolutely stunning.

MATERIALS: Solid elm wood w/a gorgeous dark, wenge stain
ORIGIN: France
STYLE: Contemporary Totem Bed from Roche Bobois’ Contemporary Collection (discontinued); Minimalist design.
SIZE: KING - dimensions are roughly 200cm x 200cm - great for tall people
CONDITION: Excellent; Hardly used - just sat in storage for several years; non-smoker, no pets; 2 minor flaws (see the LAST 2 photos) caused by movers: A tiny piece on BACK of headboard was chipped - I saved it, so you can easily glue chipped part back; and movers hit one of the sides of the nightstand.
WHAT YOU GET IN THIS SET:
- Mattress: King size, custom-made ‘legacy latex’ mattress w/ ½ inch pillow top lining - by Restonic (like NEW)
- Entire bed frame (headboard, footer, sides)
- 2 adjustable wooden suspension slats to support the mattress (worth the $2k+ price I paid for them for added comfort/support)
- 2 nightstands (easy to attach/detach from bed frame, so optional to use; Dims: 25.6inL x 13.4inH x 15.7in D)
- 2 night table lamps
Note: You will need to purchase support for the wooden mattress slats to rest on as movers lost it. If I recall, there were 2-3 metal bars that go horizontally into the frame itself (can’t remember exactly) but should be fairly easy for you to find cheap support.
